Oil? What Oil??

Not that anyone will be surprised by this. In March 2001, the US Energy Task Force, headed by your favourite corporate fraud and mine, Dick "Head" Cheney, drew up "maps of Iraqi oilfields, pipelines, refineries and terminals, as well as 2 charts detailing Iraqi oil and gas projects, and 'Foreign Suitors for Iraqi Oilfield Contracts.'" Nothing wrong with a wish list, I suppose. But, and let's be clear on this, the attack on Iraq was NOT about oil. Repeat: NOT! NOTNOTNOT!!! And you'd be a fool and a communist to think that.
